1 pkg. (16 oz) cole slaw
Red cabbage (optional)
1 bunch green onions, chopped
1 pkg. chicken flavor ramen noodles
4 T. sunflower seeds
4 oz. sliced/shaved almonds, toasted for
a couple of minutes in microwave on a
paper plate (watch so they don't burn!)
Crumble the noodles into the coleslaw along with nuts and enough shredded red cabbage for color. Mix with marinade and let stand in covered bowl in refrigerator at least 1 hour or overnight.
3/4 c. vegetable oil
6 T. sugar
5 T. white vinegar
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
Place all ingredients in a covered jar, shake and pour over cabbage.
