Saucy Meat Loaf

Serves 6-8
1 egg, slightly beaten
2 T. catsup
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
1 3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. chili powder
dash of pepper
1/4 c. finely chopped onion
1/2 c. milk
1 c. quick oats
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef

Combine first 9 ingredients, mix well. Add ground beef, mix thoroughly. Shape into loaf in shallow pan. Bake at 350º for 1 hour. If desired make topping for meat loaf by combining 4 T. catsup and 1 T. brown sugar. Bake 45 minutes. Spread on topping, bake additional 15 minutes.
