Scalloped Potatoes

6 or 8 med. potatoes
1 med. onion, chopped
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
pepper to taste
1/2 stick butter or margarine
2 T. flour mixed in 1/4 c. milk or
water for thickening

Slice potatoes into baking dish. Spread onions on top of potatoes. Mix milk, salt, pepper, butter and mushroom soup together and pour over potatoes with the thickening. Bake at 400ยบ until done.
