Cool Cucumber Pasta Salad

8 oz. pasta (tube or your choice)
2 med. cucumbers, sliced thin
1 sm. onion, sliced thin
1 T. vegetable oil
1 ½ c. sugar
1 c. water
¾ c. vinegar
1 T. dried parsley
1 T. prepared mustard
1 tsp. salt*
1 tsp. pepper*
½ tsp. garlic salt*
*or substitute this with 2 T. vidalia onion vinegarette dressing

Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and rinse in cold water.
Place in large bowl, stir in oil, cukes and onions. Combine remaining ingredients. Pour over salad and toss. Chill 3-4 hours, stirring occasionally.
