Fluffy Biscuits

2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
3 tsp. sugar
½ tsp. salt
½ c. shortening
1 egg
2/3 c. milk

With a pastry blender, mix shortening and dry ingredients until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Beat egg with milk and pour into mixture. Roll
out on floured surface about an inch thick. Bake 450 degrees for 8-10 mins.
