Hamburger Casserole

1 lb. fresh ground chuck
4 med. size white potatoes, peeled and sliced
1 lg. fresh carrot, peeled and sliced
1 c. frozen baby sweet peas (optional)
1 sm. onion, peeled and sliced thin
1 (10 ¾ oz.) can golden mushroom soup

Line the bottom of a 8×8 glass baking dish with the raw fresh ground chuck (crumbled), place the sliced potatoes on top of meat, sliced carrots, frozen peas, then the sliced onion. Spread golden mushroom soup (undiluted) over the top. Cover with non-stick foil and bake 400 degrees for approximately 1 hour.
