Lemon Crackers

2 ½ c. sugar
3 eggs
1 pint milk
1 oz. baking ammonia
1 ¼ c. Crisco
½ oz. lemon oil
9 cups flour

Cream sugar, Crisco and eggs. Mix ammonia in milk to dissolve. Add lemon oil. Add flour and milk mixture alternatively. Roll out on floured surface. Cut with cookie cutter about ¼ inch. Bake 350 degrees for 8-10 mins.
