Quick and Easy Chicken Pot Pie

1 whole chicken
½ stick butter
1 can cream of celery or cream of chicken soup
2 c. chicken broth
1 c. self rising flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sweet milk
2 T. baking powder

Cook one whole chicken until done. Do not add salt. Remove bones. Place chicken in baking dish, dot with butter. Pour soup over the chicken. Combine chicken broth, flour, baking powder and milk, pour over chicken.
Frozen peas and/or diced potatoes may be put in the bottom of baking dish before adding chicken, if desired. Bake 45 mins. at 350 degrees.
