Any violence done in the name of religion or God is fundamentally wrong and absurd.
"The Holy Spirit will teach you all things." John 14:26 He didn't say - form a religion and develop some rules and morals - he said, "Let the Holy Spirit teach you."
Is there good without religion? Can people be good without religion?
God would not treat anyone the way capitalism treats its adherents. What remains for the public at large is Hope.
We may go through our lives struggling with personal issues, family issues, financial issues, etc., but when it comes down to the wire, Americans, as a whole, give back to the community...

Would that all those who call themselves Christian would do so because of a deep personal experience of God, and not merely because they choose to be a member of a favored group.
Prayer has many levels. At first, discovering and experiencing the God of Life draws us to be confident in petitioning and entreating God to be always in our lives. But that is only the beginning step to learning how to pray.
The value of deferring to the "other" is immeasurable, and is the key to living the life of a Jesus or a Buddha.
