Club to assist with Handley renovation
WINCHESTER - Winchester Public Schools officials announced Wednesday that the Garden Club of Virginia has agreed to adopt the John Handley High School expansion and renovation project as one of its official restoration projects.
The garden club hopes to begin restoring gardens and landscapes at the high school by the fall, said Will Rieley, a landscape architect for the club. Cost estimates for the group's work on the project have not yet been determined.
