Generals lose to Wilson Memorial 63-47

FISHERSVILLE -- Stonewall Jackson's struggles continued on Monday night.

The Generals started off slow and couldn't recover in a 63-47 loss to Wilson Memorial in girls basketball action.

Wilson Memorial jumped out to an 18-2 lead and held on from there. Heather Stout had 21 points to lead the Generals (0-5). Ashley Clar added 10 for Stonewall Jackson.

"We made some runs, but we couldn't quite get over the hump," Stonewall Jackson coach Jeff Burner said. "We can't put 32 minutes together. We really scrapped with them in the second half. Hopefully, that was a step forward for us."
