Shenandoah senior Alexis Hargbol has been named to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week in selections announced on Thursday.
Hargbol, who earned USA South Conference Player of the Week honors on Monday, led the women's hoops team to the D1 Sports Blue Jay Classic championship this past week with wins over Wilkes and host Elizabethtown.
Hargbol had 39 points and 23 rebounds in the tournament as she picked up tournament MVP honors as well. In the 76-69 victory over Wilkes last Friday, Hargbol also surpassed 1,000 career points. She is the 15th woman in school history to achieve that milestone.
Hargbol is also the first Shenandoah women's player to be named to the Team of the Week since Alicia Sanders during the 2006-07 season.
