Junior Kevin Kline headlined three Shenandoah University men's basketball players who earned All-USA South Conference honors in selections announced on Wednesday by the league office.
Kline, who earned second-team and all-tournament honors last season, was named as a first-team pick for 2009-10. In 21 regular-season games, Kline averaged 16.2 points and 5.7 rebounds on his way to earning USA South Conference Player of the Week honors on two different occasions.
In addition, Kline earned first team Academic All-District III honors from ESPN The Magazine.
Senior Chris Schrader and junior Mitch Dudley joined Kline in earning all-league accolades with their selections to the second team and honorable mention squad, respectively.
Schrader is one of just two players to start all 26 games this season and is second on the team in scoring (11.1 points per game) and rebounding (7.0 per game).
In Tuesday's quarterfinal-round victory over Methodist, Schrader led the team with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
Dudley led the team in rebounding at 8.3 per contest, and his 11.0 scoring average is a close third to Schrader's 11.1.
Dudley also has a team-leading five double-doubles this season.
Schrader also picked up his second honor with his selection to the conference's all-sportsmanship team.
