HARRISONBURG -- Central secured a Region B tournament berth with a 9-8 baseball victory over Buffalo Gap in the Shenandoah District tournament semifinals on Wednesday at James Madison University. The Falcons play Page County today at JMU in the final at 7 p.m.
The Falcons (8-10) trailed 8-2 in the fourth inning, before rallying. Seth Bauserman's two-run walk-off double in the bottom of the seventh gave Central the win. Frank Kopa went 2-for-3 with two doubles and an RBI and Bauserman was 2-for-4 with a triple, a double and three RBIs for the Falcons. Kohly Hawkins had two hits and two steals for Central.
