STEPHENS CITY -- Brittini Dennis tallied a pair of goals and added an assist to lead host Sherando to an 8-0 girls soccer victory over Northwestern District rival Skyline on Monday.
Krista Deceault added a pair of goals for the Warriors, and Lainie Weadon had a goal and two assists in the victory.
Sherando (10-2-3, 6-0-2 Northwestern) also got goals from Jenny Ice, Megan Sirbaugh and Rachel Tripp. Ice and Ashley Morefield chipped in assists for the Warriors, who outshot the Hawks, 19-1.

FRONT ROYAL -- Sherando went on the road to earn a 3-0 boys soccer win over Northwestern District rival Skyline on Monday.
Brian Ferraro, Mike O'Connell and Sean Lewis tallied goals for the Warriors. Graham Siegfried, Taylor Ruths and Peter Restrepo notched assists in the win.
Sherando goalkeepers Zach Santmier and Rodrigo Cateriana split time and combined for the shutout.
