Daily Staff Report FRONT ROYAL -- Senior striker Robin Toledo recorded a hat trick with three goals as host Warren County knocked off fifth-seeded Liberty 3-2 in the Evergreen District boys soccer tournament play-in game on Monday. The fourth-seeded Wildcats also got assists from Britt Cupp and Brian Cornell in the victory. Warren County advances to face top-seeded Brentsville in a 5 p.m. semifinal matchup today in Nokesville. Prep softball Bulldogs 11, Generals 3 LURAY -- A rash of errors cost sixth-seeded Stonewall Jackson in an 11-3 loss to No. 3 Luray in the Shenandoah District softball tournament quarterfinals on Monday. The Generals committed eight errors in the game in the season-ending loss. "Of Luray's first 10 runs, seven were unearned," Stonewall coach Mike Hunt said. "We dug too deep a hole to get out of. We settled down in the fourth, fifth and sixth innings, but it was just too much to overcome." Jazmin Wimer paced the Generals offense with a double and an RBI. Prep baseball Mountaineers 9, Eagles 7 MADISON -- Fifth-seeded Clarke County dropped a 9-7 decision to No. 4 seed Madison County on Monday in the opening round of the Bull Run District baseball tournament.
