MADISON -- Despite a huge day at the plate from Olivia Gore, Clarke County fell short by a 4-3 score to Madison County in Thursday's Bull Run District softball tournament championship game.
Gore finished the day with a 4-for-4 effort, including a pair of doubles and a home run. She drove in two runs for the Eagles.
Also for Clarke County (14-8), Chelsea Nelson was 1-for-3 with an RBI.
