All-Area Girls Soccer Team

All-Area First Team
• Aubrey Fletcher, Clarke County -- A first team all-Bull Run and first team all-Region B selection, Fletcher scored 45 goals this season. She currently has 75 career goals -- more than half Danielle Moyer's school record of 136. Fletcher also has 18 career hat tricks.
• Myrina Booker, Handley -- The Northwestern District co-Player of the Year, Booker was also named first team all-Region II.
• Megan Sirbaugh, Sherando -- A unanimous first team all-Northwestern District selection, Sirbaugh led the Warriors with six goals after spending the majority of her career on defense.
• Kat Woznak, James Wood -- Woznak was named Northwestern District co-Player of the Year, and was a unanimous selection to the district's first team.
• Kasey Canterbury, Clarke County -- The sweeper solidified an Eagles defense that gave up multiple goals to only two teams, and posted 12 shutouts despite having three different goalies. She was named first team all-Bull Run District and first team all-Region B.
• Dixie Hurtado, Clarke County -- Often marked up on a team's best forward, Hurtado made a name for herself as the Eagles' stout right back. Hurtado was named first team all-Bull Run District and first team all-Region B.
• Brooke Borlie, Millbrook -- A first team all-Northwestern District selection, Borlie's corner-kick score in the district tournament semifinals gave the Pioneers their first-ever Region II tournament berth.
• Katie Philpott, Central -- The Shenandoah District Player of the Year, Philpott helped Central advance to the Region B tournament for the second consecutive year.
• Courtney Butterfass, Clarke County -- Few midfielders had as accurate a cross as Butterfass. For her efforts, she was named first team all-Bull Run District and first team all-Region B.
• Cassie Alamo, Handley -- Another first team all-Northwestern District unanimous selection, Alamo's overtime score against James Wood in the district semifinals kept the Judges on track to win the tournament championship.
• Briana Hudnall, Sherando -- One of the most athletic keepers in the area, Hudnall grabbed 149 saves and was a wall on corner kicks. She was a first team all-Northwestern District selection.
