2011 All-Area Girls Cross Country Team

Crystal Nelson, Millbrook -- The senior finished second in the Group AA state meet. She won the Northwestern District meet, and then won her first Region II title with a time of 18:29.

Katlyn Ayers, Strasburg -- The senior finished second in the Group A state meet with a time of 19:35. Ayers, who had won the last two state titles, also finished second in the Region B meet and won the Bull Run District meet.

Kirsten Campbell, Strasburg -- The junior placed sixth in the Group A state meet with a time of 20:08. She helped lead the Rams to a second-place finish in the Group A state meet.

Leanna Eisenman, Warren County --The senior made all-state by finishing 12th in the Group AA state meet. She also finished seventh in the Region II meet.

Sarah Elbon, Strasburg -- The junior made all-state by placing 11th in the Group A state meet with a time of 20:28. Elbon finished 14th in the Region B meet.

Kayla Gibbons, Warren County --The junior placed eighth in the Group AA state meet in a time of 19:10. She won the Evergreen District title, and placed third in the Region II meet.

Karly Knechtel, Millbrook -- The senior helped guide the Pioneers to the Northwestern District meet title. She also finished ninth in the Region II meet with a time of 19:50.
