Pioneers top Turner Ashby

WINCHESTER -- Millbrook dominated in the second half to pull out a 70-50 nondistrict boys basketball victory over Turner Ashby on Saturday.

The Pioneers led 31-27 at the half, but exploded for 39 points in the second half. Donte Harris had 20 points, five rebounds and three assists to lead the Pioneers (9-4, 1-2 Northwestern). Rze Culbreath had 17 points, five assists, six rebounds and five steals, and Boomer Kaczmarzewski had 15 points, six rebounds and three steals for the Pioneers. R.J. Russell added two points and seven assists and Eddie Trexler had five points and seven rebounds.
