NEW ORLEANS -- The Shenandoah University men's and women's indoor track & field teams are both ranked regionally again this week in rankings released Wednesday morning by the USTFCCCA.
The SU women maintain their No. 11 ranking in the South/Southeast Region, while the Hornet men fall three places to No. 12.
The women are the No. 7 team in the regional index and the men No. 8.
The women have 84.39 points in the ranking to come in just behind No. 10 Texas Lutheran's 85.38 and are over 16 points clear of No. 12 Virginia Wesleyan.
SU and VWC are two of six ODAC schools in the top 13. Washington & Lee leads this group at No. 5.
On the men's side, Shenandoah has 63.50 points to trail fellow ODAC school Bridgewater by just over 15 points.
The Hornets are 14.49 points in front of No. 13 Mississippi College.
Both teams are off this week and return to the track on Feb. 19 for the Mason-Dixon Championships hosted by Christopher Newport University.
