FISHERSVILLE -- David Dodson had two goals to lead Stonewall Jackson past Wilson Memorial, 2-1, in Shenandoah District boys soccer action Tuesday night.
Roberto Cardoso had a goal and two assists, and Joe Livesay had a goal for the Generals (2-1, 1-0 Shenandoah). Rafael Zuniga also had an assist for Stonewall Jackson.
Clarke County 6, Madison County 0
MADISON -- Davey Hardesty had three goals and two assists to spark the Eagles past the Mountaineers in Bull Run District action.
Connor Shendow had a goal and an assist and John Artaza and Theodore Biddle-Snead each had a goal for the Eagles. Daniel Judge and Donald Tredway also had an assist each for the Eagles (3-0, 1-0 Bull Run).
George Mason 2, Central 1
FALLS CHURCH -- Visiting Central suffered its first setback of the season despite a solid outing from pitcher Hayden Bauserman as the Falcons fell 2-1 to George Mason on Tuesday.
Bauserman pitched a complete game, allowing only two runs on five hits. He struck out four and walked three.
Bauserman also had one of the Falcons' three hits, along with Sean Semones (1-for-3, stolen base) and Kaleb Orndorff.
Central dropped to 4-1 overall and 0-1 in the Bull Run District.
Clarke County 5, Madison County 4
BERRYVILLE -- Patrick McGrath capped a four-run rally in the bottom of the seventh inning to lift Clarke County to a 5-4 win over Madison County on Tuesday.
Ethan Emmart, Keith Hummer and Evan Snapp also had hits in the seventh for Clarke County (3-4, 1-0 Bull Run).
Hummer finished the day 2-for-4 and scored a run and Snapp was 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI for the Eagles. Emmart pitched a complete game to pick up the win.
Sherando 9, Skyline 0
FRONT ROYAL -- Tre Porter fired a complete-game four-hitter to lead Sherando to a 9-0 win over Northwestern District rival Skyline on Tuesday.
Porter finished with nine strikeouts and walked three to improve his record to 2-1.
Jacob Carney was 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs, and Taylor Loudan went 3-for-5 with a triple and three runs scored for Sherando (6-1, 3-0 Northwestern).
Joe Bass and Nick Helmick each went 2-for-3 for Skyline (2-4, 1-1).
William Monroe 14, Strasburg 5
STANARDSVILLE -- Visiting Strasburg committed nine errors en route to a 14-5 loss to Bull Run District rival William Monroe on Tuesday.
Jalen Doman went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and Tyler Hott was 2-for-4 with a pair of RBIs for Strasburg (2-3, 0-1 Bull Run).
Central 11, George Mason 1, six innings
FALLS CHURCH -- The Falcons pounded out 15 hits in a Bull Run District win over the Mustangs. The game was called after six innings due to the mercy rule.
Taylor Cooper went 5-for-5 with two doubles, and Sydney Plum was 2-for-3 with a triple and a double to lead the Falcons (3-2, 1-0 Bull Run). Mikayla Viar and Mary Wakeman each went 2-for-4 for Central.
James Wood 12, Millbrook 4
WINCHESTER -- Kierstyn Peacoe threw a four-hitter and had a big day at the plate to lead the Colonels to a Northwestern District victory over the Pioneers.
Peacoe struck out 10, and had two hits, both doubles. The sophomore had four RBIs and scored a run. Haley Whitacre went 2-for-3 with three runs scored, and Rachel Largent was 3-for-3 with two runs scored and two RBIs for the Colonels (3-5, 2-0 Northwestern). Charlotte Viands went 2-for-5 with a run scored and an RBI for James Wood.
Kaitlyn Hendershot went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs for the Pioneers (3-5, 2-1 Northwestern).
Clarke County 4, Madison County 3
BERRYVILLE -- Olivia Gore's RBI single in the bottom of the seventh lifted the Eagles past the Mountaineers in Bull Run District action.
With the score tied 3-3, Stephanie Nelson led off with a single, moved to second on a sac bunt and to third on a single by Megan Rion. Gore finished 2-for-4 with two RBIs, including a double, and Helen Good went 2-for-3 with an RBI for the Eagles (5-2, 1-0 Bull Run). Becky Smith went 2-for-2 for Clarke County, and Sarah Herndon had 10 strikeouts in picking up the victory in the circle.

BERRYVILLE -- Aubrey Fletcher had five goals and one assist to lead the Eagles past the Mountaineers.
Brittany Teasley had a goal and an assist for the Eagles (3-0, 1-0 Bull Run). Morgan Fletcher and Emily Deem had a goal each for Clarke County.
William Monroe 3, Strasburg 0
STANARDSVILLE -- The Rams suffered a loss to the Dragons in their Bull Run District opener.
Anna Sparacio had 23 saves for the Rams (1-1, 0-1 Bull Run).
