Sherando whips Brentsville in baseball

STEPHENS CITY -- Tre Porter hit a three-run homer to help give Sherando a 12-2 nondistrict baseball victory over Brentsville.

Porter went 3-for-3 with four RBIs, four runs scored and three steals for the Warriors (7-1, 3-0 Northwestern). Taylor Loudan went 4-for-5 with an RBI for the Warriors. Sherando had 15 hits in the victory.
