SU roundup: Baseball Hornets drop in polls

Shenandoah University is down two spots this week in the Week 5 NCBWC/D3baseball.com Top 25 baseball poll released Tuesday morning by the website.
The Hornets, 18-7 on the year after winning three of five last week, are the nation's No. 19 team in the Week 5 poll.
Shenandoah has 160 points to come in three points in front of Neumann (Pa.) in the poll.
Trinity (Texas) is the No. 1 team in the poll for the second straight week.
Shenandoah is the nation's No. 13 team in the American Baseball Coaches Association poll released Tuesday morning.
SU falls three places to No. 13 after coming in at No. 10 last week in the initial ABCA poll of the spring.
The Hornets have 147 points in the poll and are two points behind No. 12 Eastern Connecticut State.
SU still has three games remaining in the regular season against currently ranked teams. The Hornets host No. 3 Christopher Newport next Friday and Saturday and travel to No. 5 Salisbury at the end of April.
Shenandoah is back in action tomorrow afternoon at Catholic in a non-league contest.
