Prep roundup: Duy's no-hitter lifts host R-MA

FRONT ROYAL -- Randolph-Macon Academy junior pitcher Griffin Duy fired a no-hitter as the Yellow Jackets topped Saint Michael, 4-0, in baseball action on Monday.

Duy hit a batter, but otherwise faced the minimum for the Yellow Jackets. He finished with 15 strikeouts.

Duy is now 3-0 in his last three starts for R-MA (4-10) and has struck out 42 batters over his last 21 innings on the mound.

Neil Dutton led the Yellow Jackets at the plate with a 2-for-3 effort and two RBIs. Duy was 1 for 3 with an RBI.

WINCHESTER -- Dulcie Kysela netted the game-winning goal in the 28th minute as host James Wood shut out Broadway, 1-0, on Monday.

Sarah Callaham had the assist for the Colonels.

Vanessa Sousa finished with nine goals in the shutout for James Wood (5-5).
