WARRENTON -- Warren County scored two runs in the top of the seventh inning to pull out a 9-7 Evergreen District baseball win over Fauquier on Friday night.
Tyler Moody went 3-for-4 with a triple, and Tyler Post and Eric Baker each went 2-for-3 for the Wildcats (8-5, 2-1 Evergreen).
Jacob Sheppard went 2-for-4, and Ryan Tierney went 2-for-5 with a double for Warren County.

QUICKSBURG -- Roberto Cardoso had two goals to lead the Generals past the Green Hornets in Shenandoah District action.
David Dodson had a goal and an assist, and Jonas Jacuinde had one goal and two assists for the Generals (9-1, 8-0 Shenandoah). Ryan Zerkel had four saves for the Generals.
Central 2, Strasburg 0
WOODSTOCK -- Host Central scored a pair of second-half goals to down Strasburg 2-0 in boys soccer action on Friday.
Tony Whetzel got the Falcons on the scoreboard with an unassisted goal in the 62nd minute.
With just more than six minutes left on the clock, Central's Evan Williams connected for a goal off Nick Guisto's assist.
Central (5-3-1, 3-3-1 Bull Run District) outshot the Rams, 19-9.
Falcons goalkeeper Jordan Umstead finished with nine saves.
James Wood 7, Skyline 1
FRONT ROYAL -- Jon Henriques had a hat trick to lead the Colonels past the Hawks in Northwestern District action.
Spencer Marfing, Tommy Houser, Chandler DeHaven and Logan Yost had a goal each for James Wood (6-2, 3-0 Northwestern).

WINCHESTER -- Sarah Callaham had four goals and two assists to lead James Wood over Skyline in Northwestern District action.
Sydney Arnette had a goal and an assist, and Emma Watts, Alex Lew and Stephanie Roby each had a goal for the Colonels (4-4, 1-2 Northwestern). Alex Stanford and Marissa Maddalena had two assists each for the Colonels.
Fauquier 4, Warren County 1
FRONT ROYAL -- The Wildcats fell short to the Falcons in Evergreen District action.
Kelsea Potts had a goal for the Wildcats (3-5-1, 0-2-1 Evergreen).
Keyri Mejia had an assist for Warren County. Fauquier outshot Warren County, 22-13. Haley Mills had 18 saves for the Wildcats.
