Homestanding Clarke County advanced to the Region B boys soccer semifinals with a 3-1 overtime win over Stuarts Draft on Monday.
Macson McGuigan scored in the final seconds of regulation on an assist from Ben Marshall to tie the game. Stuarts Draft took an ealry lead on a goal by Alex Waitier in the 36th minute.
Marshall and Connor Shendow each had a goal in the second of the two overtime periods. Colin Johnson and Eric Hoyt each had an assist for the Eagles (17-2-1). The Eagles outshot the Cougars, 30-5. The Eagles will play either Goochland or Appomattox in Wednesday's semifinals.
