Wildcats fall to Eagles

Warren County saw its season come to an end in a 2-1 loss to Liberty in the Evergreen District baseball tournament semifinals on Tuesday in Bealeton.

Frank Barrientez went 2-for-3 for the Wildcats (12-9). Jullian Bussels went 2-for-3 with an RBI and Daniel Harpster was 1-for-1 for Warren County.

The homestanding Eagles dominated the Panthers to advance to the Bull Run District final, where they will host Manassas Park.

Davey Hardesty had two goals and one assist, and Ben Marshall had one goal and two assists for the Eagles (16-1-1). Connor Shendow also had a goal for the Eagles.
