2012 All-Area Girls Soccer Team

FIRST TEAM
• Taylor Hill, Strasburg -- The senior either scored or assisted on 14 of Strasburg's 16 goals. Hill had 12 goals and two assists, and was a second team all-Bull Run selection.
• Rhea Jett, Stonewall Jackson -- The junior had 143 saves and four shutouts to lead the Generals to a third-place finish in the Shenandoah District. Jett was a first team all-Shenandoah District selection.
• Michaela Koontz, Stonewall Jackson -- The junior helped lead the Generals to a strong year on defense. Koontz had three goals and was a first team all-Shenandoah District selection.
• Taylor Koontz, Stonewall Jackson -- Koontz scored 12 goals and had a career-high nine assists to lead the Generals this season. The junior was a first team all-Shenandoah District selection.
• Hope Madaris, Stonewall Jackson -- Madaris had eight goals and four assists for Stonewall Jackson. The junior was a second team all-Shenandoah District selection.
• Kelly Martin, Warren County -- The senior had four goals and five assists to help the Wildcats to a 4-10-1 record this season. Martin was named to the second team all-Evergreen District this season.
• Michelle Meszaros, Skyline -- Meszaros helped the Hawks to a 2-9-1 record this year, including the school's first-ever win over Sherando. The sophomore was named to the first team all-Northwestern District this season.
• Katie Philpott, Central -- The senior became the school's all-time goal leader with 49, and had her jersey retired. Philpott had seven goals and four assists to lead the Falcons this season.
• Kelsea Potts, Warren County -- The sophomore had 18 goals and four assists to lead the Wildcats. Potts was a first team all-Evergreen District selection.
• Morgan Sirbaugh, Sherando -- The senior defender helped lead a young Warriors squad into the Northwestern District semifinals. Sirbaugh was a first team all-Northwestern District selection.
• Audra Sites, Sherando -- The freshman led the Warriors with six goals and two assists. Sites was named to the all-Northwestern District second team.
