FIRST TEAM

Catcher

Mikayla Viar, Central -- The junior hit .453 with 20 runs scored, seven doubles, two triples and 19 RBIs. Viar threw out eight runners, and was a second team all-Bull Run District selection.

First base

Tayler Cooper, Central -- Cooper hit .358 with 16 runs scored, two doubles, 12 RBIs and had a .998 fielding percentage. The senior helped lead the Falcons to regionals, and was a first team all-Bull Run District selection.

Second base

Kennedy Rothemich, Sherando --The senior hit .458 with 28 RBIs, 14 runs scored, two home runs and 11 doubles. Rothemich was a first team all-Northwestern District selection.

Shortstop

Taylor Henry, Skyline -- Henry hit .427 with five home runs, 16 runs scored, four doubles and 24 RBIs for the Hawks this season. The senior was a first team all-Northwestern District selection.

Third base

Sabrie Neeb, Skyline -- The Northwestern District Player of the Year, Neeb hit nine home runs, batted .483 with 28 runs scored and 30 RBIs. The senior also led the area with 14 stolen bases and led the Hawks to regionals.

Outfield

Carly Nixon, Sherando --The freshman helped lead the Warriors to regionals, and hit .333 with two home runs, eight steals, 19 runs scored and 10 RBIs. Nixon was a first team all-Northwestern District selection.

Outfield

Katelyn Poston, Central -- Poston was a second team all-Bull Run District selection. The sophomore hit .327 with 13 runs scored and eight RBIs. She also threw out two runners at home, and had a .980 fielding percentage.

Outfield

Katie Seymour, Sherando -- The junior batted .424 with a home run, six steals, 13 runs scored and nine RBIs. Seymour was a first team all-Northwestern District selection.

Designated hitter

Sydney Plum, Central -- The sophomore pitcher/second baseman hit .365 with 21 runs scored, four home runs, five doubles, six triples and 30 RBIs. Plum also went 5-5 in the circle with 70 strikeouts and a 2.18 ERA.

Utility

Morgan Swartz, Stonewall Jackson --The senior shortstop batted .435 with nine runs scored, six RBIs, one home run and two triples. Swartz was a second team all-Shenandoah District selection.

Pitcher

Sarah Beamer, Skyline -- Beamer went 16-5 with 155 strikeouts and 0.74 ERA. The junior also hit .382 with a home run, 27 runs scored, eight doubles, five steals and 13 RBIs.

Pitcher

Nicole King, Warren County -- The senior was 10-7 with 176 strikeouts and a 1.18 ERA for the Wildcats. King also had seven doubles, five RBIs and five runs scored, and was a first team all-Evergreen District selection.
