Jeff Cash went 3 for 5 with three doubles and four RBIs to lead Front Royal Post 53 to a 16-6 win over Manassas Post 10 in American Legion baseball action on Wednesday.
Chaz Rutherford added a 2 for 5 night with three RBIs, Logan Hibbs was 2 for 4 with two RBIs and Aaron Cook drove in three runs for Front Royal.
Tyler Moody pitched the final three innings in relief to pick up the win. Post 53 trailed 4-1 before Moody entered in the seventh, but exploded for 15 runs over the final three frames.
Front Royal is back in action tonight, hosting Ashburn Post 2001 at Bing Crosby Stadium. Game time is 7 p.m.
