Cardinals snap six-game losing skid

Visiting Front Royal snapped a six-game losing streak with a 12-5 North Division win at Luray on Wednesday night in Valley Baseball League action.
The Cards led from the second inning on after scoring four runs on three hits and a Wranglers error in that frame.
Zach Bricknell had the big blast with a three-run HR.
Gaither Bumgardner and Pat Talbut both had three hits for the victors.
Orlando Olivera had two hits for Luray.
Haymarket 6, Woodstock 5
Host Haymarket moves past Woodstock into second place in the North Division with a 6-5 victory over the 'Bandits.
The Senators led 5-3 after three and eventually extended the lead to three runs before Woodstock cut the deficit to one with two runs in the seventh on a Michael Vinson 2-run dinger.
Patrick Wiese and Sean Hagen, with two hits each, paced the Haymarket offense.
Jordan Chovane led the 'Bandits with a 3 for 5 evening.
