In a game that featured the two teams splitting 26 hits, homestanding Woodstock outlasted Waynesboro, 11-10, in Valley Baseball League action on Tuesday night.
The River Bandits scored the game-winning run on a Michael Vinson walk-off home run to lead off the ninth inning.
Seven of nine Woodstock starters had at least one hit ,with Tyler Mims checking in with a perfect 4 for 4 evening.
Brad Noland had four hits and Brandon Murray drove in four for the Generals.
New Market 6, Haymarket 4, 10 innings
Visiting New Market scored three runs in the top of the 10th inning to top Haymarket 6-4 on Tuesday.
The Senators answered with one in the bottom of the 10th, and had another runner on base when the game ended.
Haymarket had tied the contest at 3-3 in the seventh before the two teams held each other scoreless in the eighth and ninth.
Jeff Heisey led a group of four Rebels with at least two hits each by posting a 3 for 4, two RBI evening.
Sean Hagen was 2 for 4 for the Senators.
Front Royal 4, Harrisonburg 1
Two Front Royal pitchers combined to throw a five-hitter in a 4-1 Cards victory over visiting Harrisonburg.
Harrison Cooney allowed one run on five hits and three walks in the first 7 1/3 before Jake McWhirter struck out all five batters he faced to earn the save.
Cooney also had five strikeouts.
Kyle Pitts led the Front Royal offense with two hits.
Jake Roberts had two hits for the Turks.
Staunton 11, Strasburg 1
Visiting Staunton jumped all over Strasburg in an 11-1 victory.
The Braves banged out 11 hits as they scored three runs in the first and six in the fifth to take a 9-0 lead over the Express.
Ryan Stephens was 4 for 5 and TJ Shantz drove in four runs for the victors.
Terry McClinton had two hits for Strasburg.
