Virginia Sports Properties, the multi-media rights holder for Virginia athletics, announced Thursday the addition of WXVA 610 AM in Winchester to its lineup of affiliates.
The Virginia Sports Network consists of 17 affiliates throughout the Commonwealth.
The station will air Virginia football and men's basketball games and broadcast the weekly Cavalier Coaches shows produced by Virginia Sports Properties.
WXVA is owned by Winchester Radio Broadcasters, LLC. Its signal stretches from the western edges of the District of Columbia and throughout the Shenandoah Valley from the eastern panhandle of West Virginia to Woodstock.
