JMU beats Marshall in women's soccer

James Madison University started its season women's soccer season off on a winning note with a 2-1 overtime victory over Marshall on Sunday in Harrisonburg.
Kelley Germain scored the game-winning goal for the Dukes off a pass from Lauren Wilson 3:20 into 10-minute sudden death overtime.
Wilson scored the Dukes' first goal on an assist from Germain at the 54:38 mark. Marshall's Robin Waskowski tied the game at the 63:27 mark.
It was the 350th career win for JMU women's soccer coach Dave Lombardo, including a 272-170-32 mark at JMU.
