Prep roundup: Bauserman-led Falcons earn win

Central's Hayden Bauserman passed for 305 yards and a pair of touchdowns to lead Central to a 42-19 win over Bull Run District rival George Mason on Friday night.

Zach Herbaugh caught both those touchdown strikes. Daniel Molina added a pair of rushing touchdowns for Central (4-1).

Also for the Falcons, Travis Cooper scored on a 33-yard reverse, and Justin Bauserman hauled in a 45-yard touchdown pass from Samuel Barber.

Warren County 28, Moorefield 13

Warren County running back Timmy Green rushed for three touchdowns as the visiting Wildcats topped Moorefield (W.Va.) 28-13 on Friday night.
Demetrus Yates added a rushing touchdown for the Wildcats (4-0).

Volleyball

SVCA 3, Mt. Carmel 0

Carol Bartholomew's 10 kills led visiting SVCA to a 3-0 (25-13, 25-15, 25-11) victory over Mt. Carmel on Friday night.

Bartholomew also also had four blocks for the Patriots.

Also for SVCA (9-1), Kayla Freemire had 13 assists and three aces, and Krista Freemire added seven kills.
