Daily Staff Reports - sports@nvdaily.com

Senior midfielder Jenna Taylor highlighted four players collecting six honors as the Colonial Athletic Association announced its All-CAA field hockey awards on Wednesday afternoon.

Taylor was named to the All-CAA first team while redshirt junior Rachel Wein earned All-CAA second team recognition. Freshman goalkeeper Lena Wimmert and freshman back Loes Stijntjes joined Wein on the second team while also being honored on the conference's All-Rookie team.

The CAA tournament is being held on at Drexel this week. The third-seeded Dukes open up play on Friday at 1 p.m. against sixth-seeded Hofstra. A JMU win advances them to the semifinals on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. against second-seeded Northeastern. The championship game is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Sunday.
