NORFOLK -- Behind a career-high nine saves by redshirt junior goalkeeper Colin Newcity, the James Madison men's soccer team battled nationally-ranked Old Dominion to a scoreless overtime tie Wednesday evening.
ODU entered the game ranked 12th by Soccer America and 11th in the NSCAA coaches poll.
JMU improved its record to 4-4-2 overall and 2-0-1 in league play. The Dukes are the only CAA team without a loss in league action.
ODU's record now stands at 7-1-1 overall and 1-1-1 in the CAA. The Monarchs extended their home unbeaten streak to 14 games (12-0-2).
