Warren County stayed unbeaten with a dominating 41-3 football victory over Evergreen District rival Brentsville on Friday in Nokesville.
Wildcats senior quarterback Tyler Post connected on three touchdown passes. Matt Nicholson had two touchdown catches, and Chris Larsen added the other for the Wildcats.
"We did what we needed to do," Wildcats coach Tony Tallent said. "We took care of business. Brentsville played really hard -- it was their Homecoming night, and coach [Tom] O'Neill has done a good job coaching them. But it's a young program, and we were able to execute."
Timmy Green added a 40-yard touchdown run, Jacob Hill tallied a 55-yard interception return for another score and Wayne Starks' 20-yard touchdown run completed the scoring for Warren County (8-0, 3-0 Evergreen).
