MMA garners No. 1 ranking

Massanutten Military Academy's postgraduate boys basketball team is ranked No. 1 in the nation this week by the website www.recruitdirt.com.

The Colonels, off to a 9-0 start, feature five NCAA Division I signees on their roster this year.
St. Thomas More (Conn.) ranks second, followed by Kiski School (Pa.), New Hampton School (N.H.) and Brewster Academy (N.H.).

Rounding out the top 10 this week are Fishburne Military School, Hargrave Military Academy, Northfield Mt. Hermon (Mass.), South Kent (Conn.), and Wilbraham & Monson (Mass.).

MMA beat South Kent, 72-64, on Nov. 16. The Colonels are scheduled to play Fishburne on Jan. 11 and Hargrave on Feb. 2.
