Visiting Strasburg outscored Rappahannock County by 31 points in the second quarter on the way to an 83-42 victory in Bull Run District boys basketball action on Thursday night.
The Rams outscored the Panthers, 33-2, in the second frame to grab a 54-10 halftime advantage.
Strasburg's Jonathan Kloosterman led a balanced attack with 12 points and seven rebounds. Teammate Ryan Smoot added 11 points and seven rebounds, while Tommy Caison hit a pair of 3-pointers among his 10 points for Strasburg (5-1, 1-1 Bull Run).
The Rams had 13 different players score in the game.
For Rappahannock County (0-3, 0-2), Bradlee Frye nailed four 3-pointers and finished with a game-high 25 points.
Visiting Central got a 23-point outing from senior forward Brandon Ritter as the Falcons topped Bull Run District rival Madison County 58-43 on Thursday night.
Central (3-2, 1-1 Bull Run) pushed a six-point halftime lead to 47-34 by the end of the third quarter by outscoring the Mountaineers, 21-14, during that stretch.
Travis Cooper and Richard Neff each added 12 points, and Hayden Bauserman had 11 for the Falcons.
Bobby Ford tallied 13 points and Matt Temple added 12 for Madison County (2-5, 0-2).
