Prep roundup: Falcons drop district game

Visiting Central fell behind early and never could catch up in Wednesday's 74-48 girls basketball loss to Bull Run District rival George Mason in Falls Church.

The Falcons trailed 19-8 after the first quarter, and were down 34-16 by halftime.

Katelyn Poston led Central with 13 points. Sydney Plum chipped in 11 points and Allison Bright had 10 for the Falcons.
