Prep roundup: Buzzer-beater sinks Generals

Eastern Mennonite's Lauren D'Agostino hit a driving layup at the buzzer to give the Flames a 35-33 win over visiting Stonewall Jackson on Thursday night in nondistrict girls basketball action.

The Generals trailed 16-6 after the first quarter, but bounced back in the second and third quarters. Rhea Jett led the Generals (4-6) with 15 points. D'Agostino and Lauren Weaver each had 10 for the Flames (5-3).
