Prep roundup: E. Rockingham downs Generals

Host East Rockingham pulled away in the second half to down Stonewall Jackson 62-35 in Shenandoah District girls basketball action on Monday in Elkton.

East Rockingham (15-0, 8-0 Shenandoah) led just 29-24 at halftime, but outscored the Generals 20-6 in the third quarter to take control.

Hannah Stout had 15 points to lead Stonewall Jackson (4-11, 2-6 Shenandoah).

Jessica Lam scored a game-high 17 points to lead the Colonels.
