Prep roundup: Generals fall in overtime to Colonels

Stonewall Jackson suffered a tough loss on the road as the Generals fell 34-29 in overtime to James Wood in nondistrict girls basketball action.

The Generals were held scoreless in the second quarter and trailed 15-8 at the half. However, they scored 13 in the third quarter to pull within three and then tied the game at 28-28 in regulation. However, the Generals (4-10) scored only one point in the overtime.

Hannah Stout led the Generals with a game-high 12 points, and Michaela Koontz added seven. Whitney Dick led the Colonels (7-5) with seven.
