Prep roundup: Strasburg girls top Rappahannock County

Visiting Strasburg snapped a seven-game losing streak with a 34-19 victory over Bull Run District rival Rappahannock County in girls basketball action on Thursday night.

Kelsey Jenkins and Emily Melnikoff had 10 points apiece to lead the Rams, who last won Dec. 19 against Manassas Park.

Jenkins added three assists, and Kenzy McKelvey chipped in five rebounds for Strasburg (3-13, 3-6 Bull Run).

Maddie Kopjanski scored seven points to lead Rappahannock County (2-12, 0-9 Bull Run).
