FIRST TEAM
• Tanner Blankenship, R-MA
The senior won Delaney Athletic Conference Swimmer of the Meet honors for the second straight year. Finished ninth in the VISAA state meet in the 100 butterfly and 17th in the 200 IM.
• Jonathan Feaster, Central
The junior won the Bull Run District title in the 100 breaststroke and and was fourth in the 200 IM, and was second in the 100 breast and fourth in the 200 IM at the Region B meet this year.
• Cheng Qian, R-MA
The sophomore earned all-Delaney Athletic Conference honors after winning the 50 free and taking second in the 100 backstroke at the DAC meet. Led the area in three individual events.
• Josh Stickles, Strasburg
The junior won the Bull Run District title in the 500 freestyle and was second in the 100 backstroke. At the Region B meet, he was second in both to earn the Rams' only spots in the state meet.
• James Williams, Sherando
The junior finished second in both the 400 freestyle and 100 backstroke at the Northwestern District meet. Finished seventh in the 400 free and 13th in the 100 back at the Region II meet.
• Steve Shaffer, Central (Coach of the Year)
Led Central's boys to runner-up finishes in both the Bull Run District and Region B championship meets. Central set eight new school records this past season.
