First team

• Alesha Adams, Warren County

The 6-foot junior was the Evergreen District Player of the Year. She was a second team All-Region II selection. Adams led the Wildcats to the Evergreen District regular season title.

• Heidi Brown, Sherando

The sophomore averaged 11.3 points per game and 6.8 rebounds per game. Brown helped guide the Warriors to the regular season and tournament titles in the Northwestern District.

• Jenny Norman, Skyline

The junior averaged 9.5 points and 17.8 rebounds per game. Norman helped lead the Hawks to five wins, including a victory over Handley in the Northwestern District tournament.

• Katelyn Poston, Central

The junior led the area in scoring, averaging 19.8 points per game. Poston, a first team All-Bull Run selection, also averaged 5.0 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 3.0 steals per game.

• Lauren Reed, Sherando

The freshman averaged 18.6 points per game. Reed was the co-Northwestern District Player of the Year. She also averaged 4.6 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 3.1 steals per game.

Coach of the Year

• Kevin Reed, Sherando

Reed guided the Warriors to the Northwestern District regular season and tournament titles with a very young squad. The Warriors advanced to the regional semis.
