• Hunter Dean, Strasburg

106 pounds

The sophomore won a Group A state title and finished with a record of 51-1. Dean also took first place in both the Bull Run District tournament and the Region B tournament.

• Terrace Thompson, Warren County

113 pounds

The junior went 34-6 and finished seventh in the Group AA state meet. Thompson also placed third in both the Evergreen District tournament and the Region II tournament.

• Nic Campbell, Strasburg

120 pounds

The junior won a Group A state title and finished with a record of 35-0. Campbell also took first place in both the Bull Run District tournament and the Region B tournament.

• Noah Goss, Skyline

126 pounds

The sophomore finished the season with a record of 45-14 and was a Northwestern District champion. Goss also finished fourth in the Region II tournament.

• Kent Cadle, Strasburg

132 pounds

The senior won a Group A state title and finished with a record of 39-1. Cadle also took first place in both the Bull Run District tournament and the Region B tournament.

• Kyle Vangel, Sherando

138 pounds

The junior was a Northwestern District champion and had a record of 38-10. Vangel was also a Region II runner-up and finished in eighth place at the Group AA tournament.

• Todd Dean, Strasburg

145 pounds

The senior was a champion in both the Bull Run District and Region B tournaments. Dean placed fifth at the Group A state tournament and finshed with a record of 26-4.

• Dustin Santmyers, Skyline

152 pounds

The junior was a Northwestern District champion and finished with a record of 49-9. He also finished sixth at the Group AA tournament and third in the Region II tournament.

• Dan Mullaney, Sherando

160 pounds

The senior went 33-9 and finished sixth at the Group AA state tournament. Mullaney also was third in the Northwestern District tournament and fourth in the Region II meet.

• Ryan Pugh, Stonewall Jackson

170 pounds

The senior finished third at the Group A tournament and had a record of 35-8. Pugh also was a Shenandoah District runner-up and finished third in the Region B tournament.

• Willie Rutz, Strasburg

182 pounds

The senior placed third in the Group A state tournament and had a record of 14-2. Rutz also was a Region B champion and finished third in the Bull Run District meet.

• Jeffrey Budwash, Warren County

195 pounds

The senior placed third at the Group AA tournament and finished with a 38-4 record. He also was an Evergreen District runner-up and finished third in the Region II meet.

• Justin Williams, Skyline

220 pounds

The senior won a Group AA state title and finished with a record of 47-2. He was a champion in both the Region II tournament and the Northwestern District tournament.

• Jacob Guthridge, Sherando

At-Large

The junior was a runner-up in the Group AA state tournament and had a record of 41-5. He also was a Northwestern District and Region II tournament champion.

• Matt Keel, Skyline

Co-Coach of the Year

Keel led the Hawks to their first Northwestern District wrestling title in school history. Skyline tied for second place in the Region II tournament, also a first for Skyline.

• Trey Kirkland, Strasburg

Co-Coach of the Year

Kirkland led the Rams to a runner-up finish at the Group A state tournament and first place at the Region B tournament, where he was named coach of the year.
