STEPHENS CITY -- Sherando's Lauren Reed scored three goals for a hat trick to lift the Warriors to a 3-2 victory over visiting Liberty on Thursday.

Reed scored the game's first two goals off assists by Katelyn Tuck and Maggie Beyer, but Liberty cut that lead in half just before the break.

The Eagles then tied the game before Reed got one last unassisted goal with about five minutes to go to win it.

Sherando (6-4) outshot Liberty, 11-7. Warriors goalkeeper Maribeth Watkins finished with three saves.
